8 Months and Easter

I'm a little late with this post but 2 weeks ago Jameson turned 8 Months old! He has become such a little wiggle worm lately which making him pose for pictures difficult.  We did get a few good shots before he decided he was done with the camera!

This outfit is the outfit that we bought him home from the hospital in.  At 8 Months old, it finally fits! Lol!

 This month, I finally discovered a way Jameson would do tummy time with out screaming and here it is.  Now tummy time is fun!  He will stay on tummy for about 10 minutes or so without fussing and play. 

 Browning and J exchanging secrets! Jameson loves to watch Browning and the cats play in the yard while rocking on the front porch.

Now J is walking/running in the walker! He has figured out how to get around any obstacle that get in his way. The walker provides entertainment while I'm working in the kitchen at which the whole time I'm dodging him at my feet.  

Jameson graduated to a Bath seat just a few weeks ago.  He is still getting use to sitting up in the tub but he now reaches for toys and splashes with his hand.

Also at 8 months old:

•  He is eating more baby food.  We started giving him some homemade rice cereal that is mixed with some kind of fruit for breakfast.  So, he's now getting three meals a day of baby food.  Bananas and sweet potatoes are by far his favorites.  He has not refused anything I have given him as of yet but he will fuss after I give him some veggies.  He is defiantly loves him some fruit!
• He weighs over 16 pounds now!
• He still in some 3-6 months clothes but can wear some 6 months stuff as well.  Still in a size 1 shoe.
• J said "Hey Dada" as his first words on March 23rd. We were in Lowes and Daniel walked up to us and Jameson said "Hey Dada" just as plain as he could.  Daniel was so excited!  Still no "Mama" yet but we are working on it along with Bye-bye.
• We are stilling working on the Baby Sign Language   Jameson has signed "Milk" a couple of time but only when I have asked and signed it to him first.  He does it very fast and then expects to get milk right away. 
• Jameson is starting to reach to out for people especially when anyone else is holding him and he sees me. Makes me so good that he still prefers mama over anyone else!

Jameson's First Easter

 Jameson's first Easter Egg hunt was at the our church egg hunt. He put one egg in the basket and then decided the grass looked more fun!

 Opening his Easter gift from Gigi and Gdaddy.  The basket was Daniel when he was young.

Jameson is ready for the pool and the beach wit his new swim suit and hat!

 Easter Egg Hunt at Mimi and Grandaddy West's in the rain.

 We finished up Easter this past Sunday with an Easter Egg Hunt and Mimi and Pop Crowe's house.  Mama found this car for him and Elliott at a consignment sale and they both loved it!

We are also at the stage where everything makes its way to his mouth!
