Christmas 2012 ~ The First of Many

Christmas 2012 has come and gone!  This year was extra special as it was Jameson's First Christmas.  Oh what a year brings... last Christmas found out we were pregnant and this year we get to experience Christmas with our boy! At just 4 1/2 months old, we knew Jameson wouldn't understand what was happening or remember it but Daniel and I were both excited to see the holidays unfold!

We have a huge family so Christmas last about 2 weeks with a total of seven houses to visit.  It's busy but connecting with family is one of the joys for Christmas.

Our first stop was on Sunday night, December 16th for the Ozburn Christmas with Grandma Vickie.
Merry Christmas to us!  The best Christmas Present!

Disney Train from Grandma Vickie.

 Mimi and Baby J!

Next, we headed north to Helen to my Mom's house for the Dalton Gang Christmas on Saturday, December 22nd. Their power had been out since the night before when a wind storm came through the area and blew over trees in their back yard.  We were prepared to rough for a night but luckily right before we started cooking dinner the power came back on.

Papa Brad and Jameson!

Jameson's big present was a Rocking horse that makes sounds and sings when it is riden!

On Sunday night, December 23rd, we went to Mimi and Papa Crowe's house for the Crowe Christmas.

Daniel and I ended up opening all of Jameson's present while he slept in Papa Crowe's arms.

J woke up just in time to play with these giggly monkey!

Jameson's toys after 3 Christmas stops.

 New Clothes!

On Christmas Eve night we headed to Loganville for Christmas with Grandmommie and family.
Jameson helping Daddy pull the tissue paper out of the bag.

Grandmommie got Jameson a ride and push motorcycle.  We sit Jameson on the motorcycle, hold his hands on the handle bars, and then push him around the house.  He smiles the whole time!

Daniel and I were extremely excited about Santa's visit to our house for the first time.  Once you are older, Christmas with kids is so much fun!
Santa's Cookie and Milk with Carrots for the reindeer!

 Stockings hung and filled!

Jameson's stash from Santa.  Santa had a little mishap and left the N to Jameson's name train. opps! He promised to send it via mail soon!

Traditions are a big part of Christmas and we wanted to start some new ones now that we have a family of our own.  One of those is every year we'll make a birthday cake for Jesus and sing "Happy Birthday" Christmas Morning.  Jesus's birth is the reason we celebrate Christmas!

We spent Christmas Day lunch with Daniel's parents, Gigi and Gdaddy. Every year we get of fix of yummy Chicken and Rice soup!
 Us three on Christmas!

Jameson is very interested in his new colorful farm book!

 Reaching for the play nest!

We spent Christmas night with Mimi and Grandaddy West.  Each we hear the Christmas story read by Grandaddy before opening presents.
Starting Jameson out right with a John Deere Tractor!

Our Christmas festivities end this past weekend with a visit to my Dads to visit Papa, Yaya, and Nana.
J tried to eat the tissue paper!

By now after 7 times of opening presents, Jameson started reaching for the gifts as they were opened.

     Nana and Baby J!

This was just a snapshot of our Christmas holiday.  We hope you and your family had a very merry Christmas!
