Farm Fun!

This time of year makes me think about changing of the leaves, hayrides, pumpkins, and lots of fun.  So yesterday afternoon, we took our first FUN outing with Jameson.  We went to the Washington Farms pumpkin patch and corn maze in Watkinsville, GA. GiGi and Gdaddy (Daniel's parents) and Aunt Sam (my sister) when along with us.

At the Farm along with a pumpkin patch and corn maze, they have lots of activities for kids. Farm animal petting zoo, cow train, hay jump, play ground, pumpkin sling shot, corn cannon, and pig races just to name a few. Jameson was a little too young for most of them but we still had fun!  We took a hayride from the parking lot to the where all the activities were and then our first stop was straight to the kettle corn (our favorite)!

Below are a few pictures from our adventures.
Jameson's first Hay ride.

First we visited the petting zoo.  Jameson loved looking at all the animals.  He made funny faces, cooed and smiled at them.

Jameson told me that when he gets bigger he wants to show cows like his mommy did!
Hint, hint Papa Brad! ;)

Mommy's little man! I just love that little face!

Swinging on the swing at the Playground.

Getting ready to enter the corn maze.

Walking through the maze.  Jameson really enjoyed it... he slept the whole time.
(sorry, for some reason the computer keeps wanting to turn the picture sideways)

We made it out without getting turned around once.  We followed the path most traveled and for once it didn't lead us astray.

Daniel took one for the team and rode the cow train with Jameson.

We didn't get any pictures of the actual pumpkins patch because by the time we got to the patch.  Baby J was hungry so I had my hands with him.  Daniel and Sam picked out some pretty pumpkins for my fall harvest display!  We had a lot of fun and will do it again next year!  By then Jameson will be old enough to really enjoy all the activities they had at the farm.

On a side note, Jameson hit another milestone yesterday.  He laughed out loud for the first time.  We were at Daniel's parents house for lunch after church.  Gdaddy was playing and talking with Jameson and all of a sudden he let out a giggle. It took us a minute to realize that he giggled.  I'm really glad Daniel was with Jameson when he did it.  I worry about Daniel missing alot of his "firsts" because of having to be at work.
