Well after almost a year of being away from blogging, I'm back! A lot has happened in my time away... life changing things.
On July 30, 2012 we welcomed our first child, William Jameson West in the world. He is such a blessing and I thank God everyday for giving him to us!

We built our first house on the property we purchase last year. It's really a barn with an apartment. We finished out the front half to live in and the back half is Daniel's shop for tractors and his "junk." We moved in about a month ago and we are enjoying living in a place we can call our own! Still unpacking boxes and trying to get the house organized though.
This blog was started to help with healing and a way to connect with others in my same situations, now its evolving into a way to document important things a happening in the West household. Over the next couple of weeks (I say weeks because I can only do this when its nap time) I hope to redesign the blog to fit where I'm at in life now, mommyhood! I still hope to encourage and be a blessing others and let the love of Christ shine through this blog. I still plan to keep the title "Living in the Potter's Hand" because as long as we are breathing God is always molding us into the people we are to be!
I hope you will continue to join me as Daniel and I venture into parenthood with smiles, laughs, tears and lot more emotions. We have already learned a lot and I know that is more to come as Jameson changes everyday.
